QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a Colorado Professional Special Services license with Occupational Therapist registration from AOTA.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Bilingual Spanish Skills preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Background in pediatrics in either school or medical model preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver occupational therapy services to identified students within an inclusionary practices delivery model.
Responsible for assessment, interpretation of evaluation data, development of individual education plans, data collection, and progress monitoring of student achievement.
Demonstrate a high commitment to student achievement.
Possess effective communication skills with staff, students, and community in a collaborative services model.
Serves as a liaison with outside agencies and services.
Provides information regarding the role of occupational therapy in the schools.
Serves as a resource on medically related issues.
