Join National Heritage Academies (NHA) as a Marketing Quality Assurance and Business Systems Analyst. This position will report directly to the Digital Marketing Manager and will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, testing and launching efficient marketing systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes for the Marketing Department. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and system requirements. The Analyst is also responsible for generating the compiling reports based on the findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to system issues.

In this role you will work out of our corporate headquarters (Service Center) located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The NHA Service Center is where all the behind-the-scenes magic happens. Your Role

  • Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support
  • The analyst will interact with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and end users to understand business goals and formulate functional specifications for the marketing development team
  • Participate in business and technical analysis sessions to support the development efforts of NHA's and PrepNet's websites and web applications to meet current and projected business needs
  • Coordinate with system developers to communicate test results and resolve identified issues
  • Translate conceptual user requirements into functional, process and data requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to both the development and management teams
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders and project members and/or clients to ensure all system requirements accurately reflect the defined business requirements for marketing applications
  • Provide expertise on the systems capabilities/limitations as it relates to business goals
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
  • Collaborate in the planning, design and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing websites
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training and/or technical documentation
  • Coordinate training for end users for all modified and new systems


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 3 Years of experience in quality assurance of business analysis role
  • Experience analyzing complex business processes in order to develop business requirements and functional specifications
  • Previous experience managing quality assurance and business requirements for websites and software development projects is desired
  • Good understanding of agile software development methodologies
  • Ability to perform independently and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to manage internal customers' expectations and additional project analyst resources
  • Ability to communicate technical specifications to both technical and non-technical parties
  • Strong written, verbal and communication skills with the demonstrative ability to work with all levels within the organization
  • An understanding of basic development principles
