Salary Schedule (Range: $53,058 - $85,080)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree with valid Kentucky Teaching Certificate
- Three (3) years of successful teaching experience
- Ability to work successfully with people
- Consultant Endorsement once selected for the position
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced degree in curriculum and instruction
- National Board Certification
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES & EVALUATION CRITERIA:
1. Identifies professional development needs in the area of curriculum providing delivery and monitoring of the professional development results
2. Collaborates with school staff to ensure achievement for all and each student.
3. Performs data analysis to determine and communicate recommendations for curriculum modifications.
4. Ensures curriculu alignment for all levels and areas of content.
5. Understand and communicates best-practice instruction and assessment.
6. Ensures effective implementation of school goals and objectives.
7. Ensures compliance with federal laws, Kentucky statutes, Kentucky Board of Education regulations, and Jefferson County Public Schools policies, rules and procedures relating to instuctional programs.
8. Collaborates with other departments and divisions of JCPS and with the Kentucky Department of Education to ensure achievement for each student.
9. Establishment and mentoring of National Board Certification cohort.
10. Conducts grant wrting and monitoring for the school
11. Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal
