Provides advanced technical support to testing programs in the school division within established procedures and standard practices. Tasks performed are outlined in oral and written instructions; employee has some control over work assignments as required.

Working knowledge of state testing procedures, office practices, and business English and Mathematics. Skill in operating a personal computer and in utilizing email, spreadsheet, database and test administration software. Demonstrated organizational abilities. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to build effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and the public.
Education, training or experience sufficient to demonstrate the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Requirements: Applicants considered for employment must successfully complete the following background investigations/tests:
Essential Job Functions:
- Provides advanced technical assistance and training to school staff with online test administration including student registration, test assignments, test session management, problem-solving and resolution of test alerts.
- Provides advanced technical assistance to school staff related to compliance with state and local test administration requirements. Provides assistance with and coordinates testing irregularities between schools and Department of Education.
- Provides technical assistance for division-wide logistics of paper testing including receipt of secure and non-secure test materials, preparing materials for redistribution to schools, reconciling and packaging materials for shipment to scoring company. Maintains security of test materials and accurate inventory of paper testing supplies at all times.
- Assists with data management, record keeping and inventory control.
- Screens telephone calls and responds to inquiries from school system employees and citizens regarding testing programs and schedules. Acts as an information resource regarding a variety of matters related to testing operations and procedures. Provides and obtains information requested from within and outside of the organization.
- Provides clerical assistance including filing, maintaining records and ordering supplies and materials. Assembles and disseminates information. May perform light typing of correspondence or other material.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
