Job Title: Senior Data Analyst

Primary Purpose
Provide accurate and timely data analysis and visualizations to contribute to campus and District
improvement.
Qualifications
Education/Certification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Statistics or related
Mathematical field; or related field
Special Knowledge/Skills
• Knowledge of IBM SPSS and/or SQL to pull complex data sets
• Knowledge of Tableau Data Visualization software to design, develop, deploy and support
Tableau dashboards
• Knowledge of public education data systems such as, PEIMS, STAAR, TELPAS
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Experience
Three years in data analysis with large data sets
Two years Tableau dashboard development
Major Responsibilities and Duties
1. Assists the Accountability, Strategy, Assessment & PEIMS department with all aspects of data files
related to state and District assessment programs, and precode files.
2. Assists with ad-hoc reports and analysis of data sets.
3. Designs, develops and integrates functional District and campus dashboard systems using Tableau
Desktop and Server.
4. Assists in developing and monitoring metrics established by the EPISD Board of Trustees.
5. Assists in identification and development of appropriate measurement techniques.
6. Establishes standard methodologies for data assessment and interpretation across multiple dashboards
to ensure consistent information representation.

Maintains emotional control under stress. Frequent prolonged and irregular hours. Frequent
