Location: Milford High School & District Delivery Schedule

Reports To: Supervisor of Child Nutrition

Starting Date: July 1, 2018

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid current class D Delaware Driver's License
  • Proficiency in use of a computer and Microsoft applications
  • Previous experience as a custodian or in housekeeping or maintenance preferred

Performance Responsibilities:
  • Supervise receipt of Delaware Commodity Food Program frozen food on a daily basis.
  • Deliver multiple cases of frozen food products to each school on a daily basis.
  • Respond to freezer alarms at all schools, day or night.
  • Repetitive daily heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs. at heights of 3-4 feet
  • Climb a ladder up to 15 feet.
  • Perform minor maintenance repairs and troubleshooting of equipment problems.
  • Perform custodial duties for Milford High School cafeteria.
  • Drive district vehicle to make daily deliveries.
  • Frequent exposure to frozen temperatures.
  • Communicate daily in a professional manner.
  • Record inventory of Commodity Freezer and Commodity Warehouse product.
  • Complete electronic monthly inventory reports.
  • Respond to district-wide custodial duties as required by Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds (ie: snow removal).

Terms of Employment: Twelve-month employee

Salary and Benefits: Salary range and benefits are commensurate with qualifications and experience in accordance with Board of Education Policy.

Evaluation: Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with the Board's policy on evaluation of professional personnel.
