SUMMARY This teacher will provide enrichment for JSEL students one day per week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Teach students the principles of design through disciplines such art, music and PE.
Demonstrate the ability to incorporate the use of technology into curriculum as it relates to art, music and PE.
Encourages student creativity.
Ability to assess students and differentiate instruction to meet all students' abilities.
Demonstrate the ability to become a valuable and contributing member of the staff, including work with co-curricular and enrichment activities.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold a valid Colorado teaching license or authorization. Must meet content-area qualifications, which could include the appropriate license endorsement, degree in the content area, Colorado State Board of Education approved content exam, or 36 credit hours as determined by the district.

EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated knowledge of Elementary level Visual Arts, Physical Education and Music curriculum Academic Standards. Willingness to participate in County and State art shows or other community events. Ability to use effective classroom management techniques creating a positive and supportive education environment. Strong organizational and leadership skills and the ability to work with parents, community, students, other teachers and administrators in collaborative settings.
