Our Essex Westford School, District is now accepting applications for licensed educators and paraeducators in our summer school programs. Below is a summary of the positions we are seeking. K-5 Integrated Program Classroom Teacher
Teachers needed to provide instruction in core academics (reading, math, writing) to students in K-5 integrated summer program. Position includes planning for instruction based on specific needs of students in your classroom. The program runs from July 10 to August 9 (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) from 8:30-12:00 and also includes 10 hours of planning time. Positions pay $40.00/hour.

K-5 Integrated Program Special Educator
Special educators needed to provide support to teachers and students within the classroom setting as well as provide instruction to students as outlined in their IEPs. The program runs from July 10 to August 9 (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) from 8:30-12:00 and also includes 10 hours of planning time. Positions pay $40.00/hour.

K-7 small group Special Educator
Special educators needed to provide small group and/or 1:1 specific IEP-targeted academic instruction to students in shorter (45-60 minute) sessions. The program runs from July 10 to August 9 (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays). Sessions times to be determined and also includes planning time. Positions pay $40.00/hour.

EEE Lead Teacher
Certified teacher needed to create and lead small group activities, provide leadership in the structure/running of the program, and overseeing instructional assistants. EEE/preschool experience preferred. The program runs from July 10 to August 9 (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays) from 8:30-10:30. Positions pay $40.00/hour.

School Nurse
Nurse needed to provide medical assistance during summer school program from July 10-August 9 (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays) from 8:30-12:00. Position pays $40.00/hour.

Speech Language Pathologist
Speech Language Pathologist needed to work in summer program from July 10-August 9 (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays), times to be determined. Master's degree with at least one year's experience preferred. Position pays $40.00/hour.

Below is a summary of the paraeducator positions we are seeking:

K-5 Integrated Program Instructional Assistant
Instructional assistants needed to work with individual or small groups of students in the summer literacy/math program from July 10-August 9 (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) from 8:30-12:00. Positions pay $20.00/hour.

EEE Instructional Assistants
Instructional assistants needed to provide support to students by working 1:1 and/or in small groups and follow student specific programs, facilitate social interactions, and follow behavior/success plans. The program runs from July 10 to August 9 (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays) from 8:30-10:30. Positions pay $20.00/hour.

Interventionists
Interventionists needed to service multi-faceted needs of students by working 1:1 with students to follow student specific programs, follow behavior plans, and collect data as directed by supervising staff. Training to be provided as necessary. The program runs from July 10 to August 9 (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays) from 8:30-10:30 (EEE) or 8:30-12:00 (K-5). Positions pay $25.00/hour.
