Director - After School Program - Marlborough School - to begin July 1, 2018 - (Contingent on grant-funding.)
The Program Director is responsible for overall operations, sustainability and vision of the afterschool elementary program. The daily program operations include program design, implementation, hiring, training, and supervising staff. The Program Director works to ensure the program's sustainability through working with stakeholders, forming strong partnerships, fundraising and looking for other fiscal opportunities. This individual should have previous experience in managing programs for youth. The Program Director should be able to make decisions while sharing planning and overall decision-making with multiple stakeholders.
Experience with program management, experiential education, budgeting, grant writing, and staff supervision is highly desirable. Experience working with elementary school aged students is a must.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: A bachelor's degree in elementary education, environmental education, or relevant degree is preferred.
Certification : CPR and first aid certified
