Additional Job Information: This Financial Reporting Analyst position is primarily responsible for the analysis of federal grants. This individual will collaborate with district and school-based personnel, analyze budgets, monitor expenditures and estimate year-end carryforwards. Additional responsibilities include identifying and communicating financial trends, researching information and developing reports for management?s use in decision-making, and facilitating management?s control of financial operations through the analysis and interpretation of appropriate financial statements and reports.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, in combination with progressively responsible relevant work experience in accounting, financial reporting, data analysis, or data compliance.
Experience public school finance, governmental or grant accounting preferred. Strong Excel skills required.
