Performs the full range of professional duties related to support equity and employee relations administration, including the performance of complex and/or sensitive activities; monitors procedures and practices relating to labor and employment matters; implements the systems of performance evaluation; advises program managers of regulations and procedures affecting employee discipline and evaluation actions and documentation; ensures accurate documentation with regard to employee separations; provides technical assistance to program managers on matters of fair employment practices and interaction with federal, state, and local agencies involved in employment matters; and may manage a human resources large-scale, long-term project.

Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, plus five years' progressive human resources experience or related experience, two years of which shall have been in equity and employee relations. Knowledge of the theory, procedures, and practices of equity and employee relations in an educational or business setting; must possess effective human relations skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees; ability to work independently and in teams; proficiency with technology; and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
