Lake Forest Community High School District 115 is seeking an RtI/MTSS Coordinator.

Description: The RtI-MTSS Coordinator works to develop, implement, evaluate, and support tiered academic, behavioral, social, and emotional supports across LFHS. The coordinator teaches .4 - .6 FTE, with the remaining devoted to coordinator responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Works with the Leadership Team to assess and evaluate student academic, social, emotional, and behavioral growth and learning across LFHSMonitors and evaluates the use and impact of all tiered supports, reporting on the effectiveness and impact of each supportsSupports LFHS with monitoring entrance and exit criteria and accountability for tiered supportsPartners with LFHS leadership and staff to identify needs and engage in the development of approved supports for studentsWorks closely with teachers to implement and embed supports in the classroomProvides oversight and guidance for Enriched Studies courses, guiding the process for identifying students for the course, curriculum mapping and revisions, faculty evaluations and an annual program/course review to gauge the effectiveness of the course in addressing student needsEngages in data collection and problem-solving to ensure a high- functioning accountability system is in placeCollaborates with Instructional Directors to develop a schedule for supports across all departments and to ensure that all spaces are outfitted with resources, data collection tools, and located in appropriate spacesSupports the work of all CORE Teams, providing oversight and guidance regarding the appropriateness of supports recommended for studentsWorks with members of the CORE Team to engage progress monitoring of the effectiveness of supportsPartners with the NET Program Coordinators to support student re- entry into LFHS with appropriate supports in placePartners with the Athletic Director and Athletic Department to align Study Table with school-wide supports to ensure accessibility and to provide students with support in the identified area of needCollaborates with Learning Facilitators to identify student support needs and faculty professional development focused on improving student achievementCommunicates updates regarding academic, social, emotional, and behavioral supports with the school-communityParticipates on the RtI/MTSS Committee

Qualifications:
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)Demonstrated excellence in supporting students and improving student achievement outcomesStrong command of data systems and data collection tools to analyze and evaluate student progress and growthStrong communicator and collaborator
