Job Responsibilities:
It is the responsibility of the Teacher's Assistant to provide a structured learning experience and atmosphere in the classrooms assigned. Teacher's Assistants will be expected to tutor classes, cover in the teacher's absence and provide structured learning experience with a commitment to the agency's strategic principles. Specific duties include: assisting with activities, supervising the children during meal times, play times and rest periods, maintaining the classroom and other areas, assisting in developing good health standards and appropriate social habits, and filling in for other staff as needed.
This is a Per Diem not benefit eligible position.
Job Qualifications:
This position requires an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, Special Education or CTA Credential.
