PURPOSE OF JOB:
Responsible for providing instruction in the area of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with a goal of preparing students for the National Registry test and practical skills test.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED
Three (3) years of experience within the most recent ten years, a Baccalaureate Degree or Associates Degree from an accredited institution with a major in EMT may be considered as meeting one year or (2,000) hours of the employment requirement
Forty (40) Hours EMS Instructor Course W/Certificate Completed
Nationally Registered EMT or Paramedic
Missouri State EMT/Paramedic License
CPR Certified
Hold or be eligible for a Missouri Career Education Certification in the area of Health Science Education/EMT
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree
Teaching experience in an urban setting
LENGTH OF WORK:
Summer School session May 29, 2018 through June 22, 2018 (dates are subject to change)
Must be able to commit to the entire 4 weeks.
