Conducts sensitive and confidential investigations of alleged misconduct by FCPS employees or candidates for employment; develops testimonial, physical, or documentary evidence; assists with the development of policies and procedures to comply with changes in the law for pre- and post-employment activities; prepares confidential reports; and maintains liaison with representatives of appropriate federal, state, and local law enforcement, including children's protective services agencies.

Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in human resources management, law enforcement, or social work, plus six years of progressive personnel management and relevant investigative experience. A background conducting investigations related to child protection preferred. Can demonstrate knowledge of the theory, procedures, and practices associated with human resources management; familiarity with the legal requirements, methodologies, and research documentation techniques required for personnel management or investigating and documenting applicant or employee misconduct; and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
