We are seeking a school leader for Hoover High School, Iowa’s first comprehensive IB high school.  Under the supervision of the IB Director, the Principal is responsible for the implementation of the district’s education program, including the IB Middle Years Program.  Guided by the principles of the Iowa Standards for School Leaders (ISSL), the school leadership framework, and the district's vision, mission, and goals, the Principal will provide instructional leadership support to teachers and staff.  Previous leadership experience in an IB school is not necessary for consideration,  however,  leadership experience with project based learning,   global engagement or interdisciplinary studies is desired.  This position requires continuous use of independent judgment.
