Description: The Student Supervisor manages student attendance in study halls as well as coordinates with the resource centers to monitor student attendance.
- Supervises students in study hall, in-school suspension and/or the testing centerTakes appropriate attendance for the students in study hall and/or the testing centerFollows up with students if they sign out of study hall to go to another resource centerSupervises common areas and cafeteria as assigned by the deans' officeDelivers passes and/or notes to students' classesGoes to classes to get students if requested by the deans' officeWorks with the deans to issue, track, and follow up on detentions and Saturday detentionsDevelops and/or follow a system to accept and deliver tests to and from teachersCompletes other duties as assigned by the deans
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalentProficient use of Microsoft Office suite, Google Apps for Education and school-based processing and management systemsAbility to communicate clearly - written and verbalAbility to initiate and complete assignments without an inordinate amount of supervision or directionInterest in working with and supporting students both academically and social/emotionallyInterest in developing and maintaining appropriate working relationships with students and staff
