Job #CL113/17-18 at NLRDS: Vacancy Substitute Custodian.
A Day Lead Custodian will keep the building clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities and notifying maintenance of needs for repairs.
The day custodian will insure that grounds are kept free of litter and sidewalks are swept.
The day custodian will do minor repairs.
The day custodian will be considered leaders of the other custodians assigned to that school.
The day custodian will keep an inventory of supplies and order them monthly.
The day custodian will be sure time sheets are filled in, initialed, and given to the secretary at the end of the time period.
The day lead custodian will insure proper working conditions of all District equipment.
The day custodian will be expected to maintain a professional and cooperative relationship with other staff members, while on the job.
