Human Assets - Ops & HQ Talent Intern
Lower Valley
Role Overview: IDEA Public Schools' Human Assets team's mission is to recruit, hire, develop, and retain an extraordinary staff of talented teachers and leaders. The majority of the work of the Human Assets - Ops & HQ Talent Intern will support recruiting and hiring Headquarters staff. This paid internship is best suited for a detail-oriented individual who is excited to work behind the scenes on critical projects for our organization. An ideal candidate is a self-starter, problem solver, and strong written and verbal communicator.

Responsibilities:
Post job openings in IDEA's online application system, on the website, on LinkedIn, and other sites as needed Manage referrals and interest forms Support calendaring trainings with agendas and objectives Support with trainings for operations and HQ staff (prepare materials, organize and/or support logistics) Help the Human Assets team in other critical areas, as needed

- Currently enrolled at a college or university
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Highly self-motivated and proactive
- Excellent oral, written, and overall communication skills
- Quick to problem-solve logistical challenges
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people
- Can operate Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word and Outlook and willing to work any new software)
Job Specifications:
- Location: Weslaco, TX
- Hours: 10-20/week (schedule flexible)
- Pay Rate: $10/hour
