Substitute Bus Driver - FOR RECRUITMENT DAY!

Grand Island CSD will hold a substitute recruitment day on March 9, 2018 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm in District Office. Open interviews will be conducted. Online applications will be printed at your time of arrival
Drivers must complete training per District
Drivers shall transport students in accordance with schedules in a safe and friendly manner.
Drivers are held responsible for reasonable behavior of pupils in transit.
Drivers will perform other duties as may be assigned.

Additional Job Information: Must have CDL-B License with Passenger and AirBrake Endorsements.

Must be able to comply with Commissioner of Education Requirement 156.3 and the New York State Dept. of Motor Vehicle Article 19A and the Omnibus Testing Act.

Drivers shall be familiar with the Vehicle and Traffic Law, Regulations of the Comm. Of Motor Vehicles, NYS Dept of Trans. Regulations, Regulations of the Comm. Of Education and regulations, rules and policy of the District pertaining to pupil transportation.

Ability to work with disabled students in a positive manner.
