OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for supporting the School Leader in managing all aspects of school operations. This work includes budget and finance, information technology support, child nutrition management, transportation management, and facilities management. This position will work in collaboration with the School Leader and charter school finance specialists.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Manager for transportation, food services, facilities maintenance, security and other third party service contracts, ensuring ongoing monitoring and implementation of contracts.

*Responsible for site-level procurement of supplies, materials, equipment, and inventory management.

*Support administrative assistant to maintain integrity and accuracy of student records.

*Manage all aspects of the lunch program/process.

*Manage day-to-day activities of designated non-instructional staff.

*Work directly with the charter school finance specialist to develop and monitor an annual budget and ensure timely pay of school bills.

*Oversee cash collections on site and prepare for deposit.

*Work with charter school finance specialist to prepare monthly financial reports.

*Coordinate all federal, state, and local grant applications and reporting.

*Manage accounts payable and payroll processes.

*Oversee financial reporting and year end audits as well as any site audits from state or federal agencies.

*Cooperate with School Principal to implement policies and procedures at school (e.g., compensation, vacation/sick days; recruitment screening, background checks, etc.).

*Lead annual performance reviews for non--‐instructional staff as assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

*3+ years of experience working in education organizations preferred

*Operations and facilities management experience.

*Experience in managing and enforcing service level agreements and contracts for outsourced services.

*Ability to work collaboratively

*Ability to successfully multitask

*Demonstrated good judgment; approachable and professional; solid problem solving skills; self-motivated; well organized.

*Ability to prioritize and effectively manage competing tasks and responsibilities

*Ability to sustain a calm, reasonable approach, and communicate effectively in stressful or problematic situations

*Strong skills with Microsoft applications required

*Familiarity with state and federal regulations including, but not limited to: FERPA

Standard Requirements:

*High School Diploma Required

*Favorable Criminal Background Check for the candidate who is offered employment

*Tuberculin test and physical

Start Date: Immediately

Reports To: School Leader

A person may not be employed by a public school employer in any position requiring licensure and certification if the person does not meet licensure and certification requirements established under Chapter 12 of [Title 14 of the Delaware Code]..., except pursuant to a license extension and/or emergency certificate issued pursuant to Chapter 12. See 14 Del. C.§ 1313.
