Qualifications Required:
  • Candidates must possess a valid New York State Teacher's Certificate or Adult Education Certificate OR be eligible to obtain an Adult Education Certification in appropriate subject area(s)

Qualifications Desired:
  • Experience working with adult learners
  • Ability to teach English to adult learners
  • Ability to use technology to enhance instruction
  • Working with students at varied levels and diverse populations
  • Familiar with community resources
  • Ability to work as a member of collaborative team
  • Good organization and communication skills
  • Fluency in Spanish, desired but not required
