Job Requirements
  • State certified or certifiable as BCBA
  • Experience working with young students with autism
  • 1 Year school based experience preferred


Summary

Board certified behavior analyst to work with early childhood/elementary school students, staff and families providing direct service, and consultation. We are seeking a team player, who can multi-task, prioritize and provide meaningful instruction to children and adults. The selected individual will be able to form and maintain relationships with families while respecting confidentiality and enforcing appropriate boundaries. Work is largely within the confines of the school setting, with some home/school facilitation. Must enjoy elementary children and data collection.

General BCBA Responsibilities Include:
  • Evaluate students for services (use of ABBLS, VB MAPP, FBA, observational data, checklists)
  • Develop data-taking mechanisms and reporting strategies, oversee the collection and analysis of data for student progress
  • Develop home program books and ensure consistency in programming, home consults as necessary
  • Develop appropriate positive behavior intervention plans, social skills curriculum and individualized goals
  • Provide staff with resources, tools, and modeling of techniques
  • Ensure behavioral strategies are implemented consistently and accurately across all settings
  • Present evidence of student progress toward goals and objectives through regular progress reports & Team meetings
  • Work 1:1 with students and run social skill groups as needed
  • Provide ongoing training to staff and parent trainings
  • Complete needed paper work and job related functions in a timely manner
  • Routinely attend district and school based meetings, training and professional development
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Other duties as required by Pupil Personnel Services Director
