    Anticipated 2018 - 2019 position

    Position Title: Early Childhood Occupational Therapist

    FLSA: Exempt

    Reports to: Supervisor of Early Childhood Special Education

    Terms of Employment: 184 day work year. Benefits and salary in accordance with the LEA Unit A collective bargaining agreement

    ** Salary schedule attached for 2017-2018 school year; successor agreement being negotiated

    Responsibilities:
    • Supports Instructional programming by providing occupational therapy to students as required.
    • Assesses small children as part of the Early Childhood Team to determine eligibility for special education services.
    • Consults with staff to meet the needs of all students requiring occupational therapy
    • Implements therapeutic plans
    • Schedules students into appropriate instructional groups
    • Assists with mobility, transitioning and personal care as needed
    • Other duties as assigned

    Job Qualifications & Physical Demands:

    Must be licensed as Occupational Therapist.

    Classroom experience and college degree required.
