The Worcester Public Schools is seeking substitute teaches for the 2017-18 school year. Successful candidates must be able to implement lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment. WPS consists of forty-four schools spanning grades k-12 plus vocational and alternative schools. Assignments to be determined.

Qualified candidates who have limited availability are encouraged to apply -- we will work with your schedule.

Associates degree or equivalent (60 college credits) required to apply; Bachelors degree and Music license is preferred.

Substitutes who hold MA DESE license may be eligible for long-term assignments. Long term assignments are paid $253.71/day. Some long term assignments also have paid sick days. Long term assignments are full-time only.
