Description
The Corporate Finance Associate will assist with projects relating to the Finance, Accounting, Corporate Development and Strategy, and Corporate Communications teams. This role will include operations and marketing support for presentations, competitive analysis, public relations activities, website management, social media management, and other responsibilities across the organization.
• Assist in the development, preparation, editing and dissemination of presentations for various constituencies.
• Research and review various topics, analyze data, develop materials, and provide reports or presentations as required.
• Assist with competitive analysis, capital markets, and other education industry market research
• Support design and development of graphics and illustrations for use in materials, manuals and publications.
• Support management of two websites updating media, blog content and photos in real-time.
• Assist in assembling and distributing weekly internal corporate newsletter.
• Support intake of enterprise-wide story idea submissions contributed by K12 partner schools.
• As required, engage K12 and partner school stakeholders on interviews with enthusiasm and sensitivity.
• Support team with blog writing and media advocacy pitching (Letters to the Editor and Op-eds).
• Support management of corporate intranet, updating news, announcements, and executive bios.
• Facilitate and process property tax bills and invoices.
• Manage special projects and activities with varying timelines and due dates.
• Provide other logistical and administrative support as necessary.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of work experience. Marketing, communications, management consulting or public relations agency experience a plus.
• Outstanding Microsoft Office SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Adobe Photoshop proficiency.
• Proven project management experience with the natural ability to organize and prioritize daily tasks, and manage a high-volume workload with minimal direction. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Fluency across social media channels with proven ability to promote brand and lead impactful campaigns. • Ability to successfully navigate within a matrixed organization with excellent interpersonal communication skills. • Team player and willingness to contribute on a tactical level. • Comfortable working in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. • References and portfolio of work samples required.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Video editing and production experience a plus.
