Job Summary
Provides leadership for and directly participates in all operational phases from initial project design through summative evaluation, with a particular emphasis on delivery of support to schools. Acts as a resource person for menu of supports for itinerant and site-based District personnel as well as for staff from various community-based partner or contracted agencies.
Essential Functions
  • Provides support for specialized research efforts.
  • Monitors programs, projects, and evaluations for satisfactory progress and compliance with grant requirements.
  • Collects and manages a wide range of program implementation and outcome data.
  • Oversees completion of required deliverables.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement, and report on evaluation and research activities.
  • Assists with the resolution of complex programmatic and procedural issues.
  • Supports the Office of Research and Evaluation and ORE staff as needed.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Five years of full-time, paid, professional experience with emphasis on research, evaluation, and/or education.
OR
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Three years of full-time, paid, professional experience with emphasis on research, evaluation, and/or education.
OR
  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience determined to be acceptable by the Office of Talent.
  • All work experience related to the position must be included on the resume.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of:
  • the methods and techniques used in effective program planning, design and administration.
  • administrative and budgetary practices and procedures.
  • the current methods, processes and techniques utilized in the implementation of program initiatives.
  • the methods used to develop contracts and manage external resources.

Demonstrated ability to :
  • assess the effectiveness of programmatic activities and to make recommendations for modifications as needed.
  • conduct research and analyze data.
  • maintain records and prepare reports.
  • develop and facilitate presentations.
  • use a personal computer.
  • communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Additional Job Information: This is a non-represented position. The salary grade for this role is 4026.
