Job Summary
Manages all necessary data systems for programmatic decision-making. Supports central and school-based staff and students by managing pertinent information that impacts the success of the program. Serves as the primary point of contact regarding school data needs and assists with the program in the assigned area. Assists in generating reports to document project progress, and keeps a log of all program structures and processes related to grant activities. Collaborates with both internal and external entities to ensure accurate communication regarding improved student outcomes. Prepares regularly scheduled and ad-hoc internal reports. Manages data and recommends database strategies to ensure the proper integration of data.
Essential Functions
  • Collects, enters, and organizes daily enrollment, attendance, behavior, and program participation records from all grant-related activities.
  • Works collaboratively with administrators and assists the school's administrators with the management of data provided by standardized academic assessments and staff and student surveys.
  • Manages the grant-related data management system; conducts periodic reviews to ensure information is up-to-date and accurate and generates reports.
  • Communicates and collaborates with the Research Associate in the Office of Accountability and/or the Allegheny Intermediate Unit regarding data collection and documentation processes at the assigned school.
  • Assists the Department of Labor (DOL) Research Associate or the Pennsylvania Department of Education in the preparation of data reports for school or District-based grant meetings as well as data reports for the DOL or Education of Children and Youth Experiencing Youth (ECYEH) and/or assigned external evaluator; assists with the final evaluation report of the Summer Bridge Program at the assigned school.
  • Maintains a working, detailed log of creation or modifications to implementation plan initiatives, including, but not limited to: academic skill building programs, mentoring programs, school climate initiatives, and post-secondary readiness programs.
  • Participates in all school-based and District-wide grant-related meetings.
  • Adheres to administrative procedures in accordance with program guidelines.
  • Graphical design of F.A.C.E parent and staff communications including the F.A.C.E org website, F.A.C.E Staff Resource Google website, flyers, brochures, manuals and documents.
  • Analyzes the financial performance of programs; communicates and interprets program benchmarks through written reports and oral presentations.

  • Assist with the development of standards to evaluate program effectiveness and programmatic goals and objectives for resolutions, service agreements, and limited contracts.
  • Provides reports and data maintenance for all F.A.C.E programs and initiatives.
  • Assists with the follow-up of FACE Office staff to ensure incomplete and missing data is corrected.
  • Works with Translation & Interpretation and Multilingual Family Support to develop metrics and oversee data maintenance
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Two years of full-time, paid, professional experience collecting, managing and reporting data for a federally funded program in an educational setting, which have included using personal computer applications to design and maintain databases.
  • All work experience related to the position must be included on the resume.

Additional Job Information: This is a non-represented position. The salary grade for this role is 4022.

Interviews may be conducted to determine how well a candidate meets the established criteria. Note that not all qualified candidates may be selected for an interview. Additional factors including the ability to follow directions, punctuality and professional conduct will be considered in part of the evaluation process. The selected candidate must have no anecdotal record on file and have not been subject to any disciplinary action within the past eighteen (18) months, and have an excellent record of attendance and punctuality during the last three (3) years (defined as no more than eighteen (18) occasions of lateness or absence for personal illness in the last three years (3) years with the exception of one extended long-term absence.
