The Board of Education of the Orange City School District in Pepper Pike, Ohio is seeking an exemplary educational leader to serve as their next superintendent.  It is anticipated that the new leader will begin their duties no later than August 1, 2018.  The Orange City Schools serve students and families from the communities of Hunting Valley, Moreland Hills, Pepper Pike, Orange and Woodmere.  The schools are located approximately 15 miles east of Cleveland, Ohio on a beautiful 176 acre wooded campus and include Moreland Hill Elementary School, Ballard Brady Middle School, Orange High School and the Pepper Pike Learning Center.  This is a high performing school district with approximately 2,100 students.

The Orange Schools are a microcosm of American society and include families of diverse races, ethnic groups, religions and socio-economic status.  A total of 98% of the 2017 graduates from Orange High School matriculated to college, with students scoring a composite of 24.9 on the ACT. Orange High School offers twenty-three Advanced Placement courses and an International Immersion program. This allows OHS students the opportunity to become culturally aware & experience global classrooms.  OHS currently has partnerships with Denmark, China & Iceland.

Orange Schools is the only school district in Ohio to achieve AAA bond rating from both of the major bond rating services, first achieving this status 13 years ago.  These ratings were reaffirmed in March of 2017
