Job purpose

Develop a profound understanding of the profile and needs of the assigned school portfolio, and on the basis of this knowledge develop an annual plan and secure its realization. Retain schools and build and strengthen school relations in order to optimize programme implementation, engagement and satisfaction. Act as the representative of the schools in the portfolio so that internal stakeholders are aware of the diversity and complexity of school profiles.

Job Requirements

• Previous successful IB programme experience; school leadership and/or school/district administrator experience preferred

• Master’s degree with more than 3 years’ experience

• Impeccable written and oral communication skills in at least one IB language, and fluency in a second IB language is preferred

• Familiarity with the key features of all four IB programmes and in depth knowledge of at least one

• Familiarity with US public school systems and practices

• Willingness to work flexibly and to travel as required (Flexible work location, Bethesda based preferred)
