The employee in this position will teach the following social studies classes:
The teacher should be well-trained in the implementation of the CT Social Studies framework and CT Core Standards with rigor, purpose and planning to meet individual student needs.
Responsibilities :
A completed application must include a letter of interest, resume, copy of transcripts, copy of Connecticut certificate and at least three current letters of reference. Please review your documents after you have uploaded your electronic files to make sure that the entire document may be read on the screen. Please make sure that your transcripts are legible and print-able. We only accept supporting application materials online (resumes, cover letters and transcripts, etc.). Please do not send materials through the U.S. mail or by email. Instead, please upload your electronic files (Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF formats ) through the online application process. If you do not have your supporting materials in an electronic form, you may wish to visit a local business services company (Kinko's, OfficeMax, Staples, etc.) or your university career services department, as they should have the resources to help you scan your "hard copy" materials and save them in Adobe PDF format.

The teacher should be well-trained in the implementation of the CT Social Studies framework and CT Core Standards with rigor, purpose and planning to meet individual student needs.
Responsibilities :
- Work cooperatively with other team members to complete the lesson plan as well as improve the instructional program for students
- Attend all department meetings and professional development activities
- Other duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator/House Administrator
- Graduated from an accredited university
- CT certification is required (026)
- Strong communication skills orally and in writing?
