TITLE: Middle School/High School Administrator
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. State license requirements
2. Such other qualifications as the Board and Superintendent find appropriate.
REPORTS TO: Superintendent
SUPERVISES: All staff members assigned to administrator's building
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• A highly successful track record as a middle school/high school administrator
• Experience as a middle school/high school administrator
• Excellent organizational, communication, public relations and interpersonal skills
• A high level of understanding and extensive experience with data-driven and standards-based instruction (Charlotte Danielson Framework for Teaching)
• An in-depth knowledge of special education rules and regulations for compliance
• Experience in the Common Core Standard and Best Practices for Student Learning
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in developing a positive school culture
• A proven track record of high student achievement
• A proven track record of maintaining high student attendance and discipline
• Expertise in evaluating staff instructional skills and overall performance using Danielson Framework for Teaching
• Excellent technology skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Ability to mentor and develop staff to become master teachers
• Proven experience in building parent and community partnerships
• Ability to interact successfully with staff, parents, board members and community
• High moral and ethical standards
• Experience in leading professional learning community
