  • The immediate vacancy is located at Kalani High.
  • Maintains the condition and appearance of a swimming pool and adjacent areas and performs other related duties as required.
  • Applicants must meet all the requirements for the position they are seeking as of the date of the application, unless otherwise specified. Unless specifically indicated, the required education and experience may not be gained concurrently. Note: Calculation of experience is based on full-time, 40-hour workweeks. Part-time experience is pro-rated. Example: Twelve months of experience at 20 hours/week is equivalent to six months of experience, not one year. Also, hours worked in excess of 40 hours/week will not be credited. Example: Twelve months of experience at 60 hours/week is equivalent to one year of experience, not one and a half years.

    To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:
  • Experience Requirement:
    Applicants must have had 2 years of experience in any one or a combination of the following types of work:

    A. Janitorial or related custodial work such as sweeping, dusting and cleaning of buildings.

    B. Grounds maintenance work such as raking and mowing lawns, trimming shrubs and trees, and fertilizing and watering lawns and plants.

    C. Construction laborer work such as loading and unloading building materials, clearing construction area and assisting tradesman in construction and maintenance activities.

    D. Laboring work connected with the operation or maintenance of diesel, electrical or combustion engines, pumps, generators and other similar types of mechanical equipment.
