The Longmeadow Public School District is currently accepting applications for Substitute Nurses. Please complete the online application to be considered for a substitute nurse position in the district. Substitutes fill in when there are openings due to a staff member's absence and occasionally attend a field trip. Online applications are reviewed on a regular basis. Qualified applicants will be required to meet with an Administrator for an interview. Letters of reference may be required. Upon being hired as a Substitute Nurse, applicants must complete payroll forms, a CORI application and a fingerprinting application. Please note that all offers of employment are conditional upon receipt of satisfactory CORI and fingerprint results, as determined by the employer. The district utilizes Absence Management, an online substitute fulfillment software to meet all substitute needs. Substitutes are able to manage their work schedule through Absence Management.

Job Requirements
Minimum qualifications for substitute nurse is an LPN or RN and previous experience working with young people.

Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
