The Columbus Board of Education seeks an innovative school superintendent who will help our nationally-recognized District advance its mission of increased student success, effective learning environments, and community accountability. Located in the State Capital, Columbus City Schools serves nearly 52,000 students and their families - the largest school system in Ohio.
Columbus, Ohio, is a growing metropolitan community, full of opportunities and challenges. As such, a successful candidate should demonstrate past leadership success in an urban-like setting with a diverse student population.
Screening begins in November; deadline to apply is Dec. 9. A leadership profile will be posted in mid-November. A regionally competitive compensation package will be offered. The preferred start date is negotiable.
