Evergreen Public Schools in America’s Vancouver seeks its next permanent Superintendent of Schools.

Situated on the north banks of the Columbia River, you’ll find Washington’s Evergreen Public Schools, a dynamic school community of over 22,000 students.  Evergreen ranks as one of Washington state’s ten largest school districts, and one of the two anchor school districts of the region known as Southwest Washington, which overlooks the magnificent Columbia and the city of Portland, Oregon.

We currently seek a permanent Superintendent of Schools to join the district on July 1, 2025.  Our new leader will bring an inspiring, strategic, and future-focused leadership, informed by a record of leading successfully in complex and diverse organizations, and who is a relational, approachable and connected communicator.  Please review the links to the left for additional information.

Salary will be in the range of $285,000 to $315,000 with a comprehensive benefit package. The final compensation package for the successful candidate will be negotiated and determined based upon proven experience, qualifications and meeting Board criteria.
