The Eastchester Union Free District seeks a Superintendent of Schools with strong curriculum experience. The district strives to “provide quality education in a safe, stable and secure environment that fosters mutual respect, and promotes the uniqueness of the individual, emotionally, physically and socially.”

Eastchester is a Kindergarten–12th grade school district 22 miles from Manhattan. Candidates should be solid communicators who are collaborative with the Board of Education, the staff, and the community. They should continue to encourage everyone to “soar to excellence.”

The new district leader will play a crucial role in shaping the culture within the district. Educating approximately 3,200 students in a safe and nurturing environment, applicants must be capable of being even-keeled, taking the pulse of the community, and respecting  the ideals of Eastchester.

Candidates must possess or be eligible for New York State School District Administrator (SDA) or New York State School District Leader (SDL) certification.

Salary and benefits range is $225,000-$325,000
