Job description

We have an immediate job opening for a full-time Exceptional Children's (EC) Teacher in North Carolina. This job is full-time and in a resource classroom with some self-contained students. General classroom teaching duties apply and must have good communication and interpersonal skills since you will be working closely with staff, parents, and administrators.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education from an accredited college or university.
  • Must be N.C. Professional Educator's certification.
  • Certified to teach middle school students (7-8)
  • Recent teaching experience in a NC classroom and/or schools is preferred.
  • Familiar with NC IEP Comprehensive Exceptional Children Accountability System ( Cecas ).
