Intermediate District 287 is looking for a Career & Technical Education Manager for our Career & Tech Center located in Eden Prairie, MN!
Intermediate District 287 is a west metro district for learners with unique needs. As an intermediate district, we provide specialized services, primarily setting IV special education, to students from 12 member districts in the west metro.
The Career & Tech Center program offers career courses for high school students that are designed to match the level of career readiness by focusing on skill development experiences, career awareness, and decision making that can lead to a college certificate, diploma, or degree.

What Makes Us Special:
- We are a trauma-informed district. We take into account past trauma and the resulting coping mechanisms when attempting to understand behaviors and best serve our students.
- There is a variety of support services in each school including School Social Workers, Psychologists, Counselors, Behavior Intervention Specialists and Student Safety Coaches. All of whom are student-centered and focused on building relationships with each child.
- Small class sizes - typically 6-8 students per class
- We value diverse perspectives and life experiences and our strategic vision includes hiring and retaining racially diverse and racially conscious staff across all levels of our organization.

- Minimum of five years experience with CTE programming at the site or district level.
- Degree in Education Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction or related field preferred. Years of experience can be a substitute for preferred degrees.
- Must have a valid MN Teaching license or Career and Technical Education license
- Preferred school administrator license (principal, director, Secondary Local Vocationational Program Director, or related field).
