Description
Scope : Responsible for provision of program and project services relating to agency home repair and neighborhood redevelopment projects. To coordinate services in the interest of aiding clients to progress toward greater self-sufficiency through infrastructure repair and supportive services. Primary functions include meeting with clients and collecting, organizing and uploading client and property-related records as required for participation in grant-funded initiatives.

Essential Functions
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of client needs to make eligibility determinations for home repair programs,
- Process clients for assistance using the applicable databases and verifying documentation per program requirements
- Remain up-to-date in the knowledge of available services in order to assist agency clients in meeting their social, physical, and economic needs.
- Assist the management team in the recruitment, onboarding and compliance of the contractor network
- Maintain caseload by keeping case history files current, uploading documents to database systems, and responding to client inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
- Respond to customer inquiries for applicable services in a professional manner; schedule appointments; and assist clients in completion of application forms.
- Proficiently navigate public property information web-based systems related to tax and title records.
- Maintain a positive attitude towards assigned work, clients, and staff, and a willingness to work with others.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree OR a minimum of three years of experience in a related field OR a combination of education and experience that is similarly equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of homeownership, real estate and development services, loan products and the construction industry.
- Basic understanding of customer service practices and strong customer service skills.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate between various databases.
- Working knowledge of basic internet applications and programs including Google technology and Microsoft Office Suite. The ability to learn and utilize the necessary programs for this position.
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to use sound judgment and initiative to analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to adapt to different demands, negotiate stressful situations, and work independently with a minimum of supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form.
- Good interpersonal and professional skills, including but not limited to: professional appearance, tact, punctuality, and dependability.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment (as deemed necessary).
- Perform work in a manner that upholds Wayne Metro policies and procedures.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be COVID-19 vaccinated, or partially, with the ability to complete within 30-days of employment. Circumstances preventing vaccination, and corresponding accommodations will be reviewed and considered.
- Ability to travel to various sites.
