Job Summary (2-3 sentences describing job purpose): Provides coordination and direction for administering fiscal aspects of grants, including budget management, fiscal reporting, supplemental pay, and project management tracking and analysis. Collaborates with Federal Programs staff to ensure schools, and the District, are compliant with State and Federal laws, regulations, and guidelines for use of Federal Funds and the administration of State and Federal grants.

Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities : List, in the order of importance or time spent, the essential duties/tasks performed by the position. This is not an exhaustive list and employees may be assigned additional duties by management as required.Regular and reliable attendance is an expectation of the job.
Job Duty/Resp. 1:
Responsible for department time-keeping function: collects, processes, and archives all department pay and mileage reimbursements.
Job Duty/Resp. 2:
Produce and track monthly and quarterly budget reconciliations for grants/projects.
Job Duty/Resp. 3:
Compile project management tracking, i.e. inventory, calendars/deadlines, printing.
Job Duty/Resp. 4:
Collaborate with Grants Management team to collect, compile, and archive supporting documentation for audit and monitoring requests related to grant projects, programs, and initiatives; serve as liaison with inventory department regarding compliance with procedures for grant funded equipmen.t
Job Duty/Resp. 5:
Coordinate and manage grant funded travel from beginning to end
Job Duty/Resp. 6:
Assist ESEA Grant Coordinator with administering ESEA Equitable Services to Non-Public Schools
Job Duty/Resp. 7:
Collaborate with the Grants Management Team in the Office of Federal Programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations and guidelines; coordinates monitoring requests from federal and state monitors
Job Duty/Resp. 8:
Serve as back up for department grant-funded exception pay function. Employs critical thinking, independent judgment and independent action to solve exception pay issues and batch errors.

Education and Experience Requirements
Education (training/degree): Required minimum: Bachelor's in related field Preferred: Click here to enter text.
Increasingly responsible professional experience may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis, up to a maximum of 3 years
Experience Requirements: Minimum of 5-7 years of grants management experience. Knowledge and understanding of Federal and State laws and regulations and District policies and procedures preferred.
Licenses, Certifications or Registrations Required: None
Skills Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, JDE accounting system; Expert level experience in Excel.

Equipment Usage (if applicable):
Level 3: Leads or handles machines, tools, equipment, or work aids involving moderate latitude for judgment regarding attainment of standard or in selecting appropriate items.

Level 1: Requires no responsibility for the safety and health of others.
