Austin Preparatory School, located in Reading, Massachusetts about 15 miles north of Boston, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Chemistry Teacher. Founded in 1961, Austin Prep is an independent co-educational Catholic day school in the Augustinian tradition for students in grades 6-12. There are 800+ students enrolled in the school. Chemistry Teachers report directly to the Department Chair and Assistant Head/Head of the Upper School. Teachers are responsible for designing and delivering school and academic department approved curriculum on behalf of the school in support of the school’s mission.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred. 3-5 years’ experience working with students in a school setting. Proficient level of technical knowledge (i.e. Apple, PC, MS Office)
