Staff Needed: One (1) Executive Director to the Superintendent

Qualifications:
  • Have a Master's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary
  • Demonstrate the ability to work with diverse populations; bilingual preferred
  • Experience in the conducting and coordinating staff, curriculum, and program development projects/activities
  • Central Office experience required
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to motivate people
  • Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative
  • Ability to organize, research and collect data on specific needs, addressing school and operational matters to support the daily operations of the District
  • Able to assist in District wide initiatives
Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Superintendent in the general administrative operations of the school district
  • Prepare reports for the Superintendent as requested
  • Research current educational initiatives in collaboration with the Superintendent and/or designee
  • Provides supervision and general project management for special requests made to the Office of the Superintendent and assure appropriate follow through of action items
  • Coordinate Superintendent Round table, steering committees, task force
  • Prepare Board of Education actions and justifications for district initiatives which support goals and objectives of schools
  • Work cooperatively with district departments and schools to implement QSAC requirements
  • Monitor and follow up with staff regarding district initiatives for the Superintendent
  • Assist with the budget development for the office of the Superintendent
  • Coordinate and prepare data charts and action plans for meetings and presentations
  • Assist with the coordination of higher education initiatives with schools and students
  • Attend Instructional/Academic Meetings, school visits, and events as necessary
  • Be responsible for compilation of documents needed for collective negotiations
  • Perform other tasks and assume other responsibilities as the Superintendent or designee may assign, and not otherwise prohibited by law or regulation
