Job Details

1. Strictly implement various management systems and regulations of the school; formulate relevant policies and regulations, and organize employees’ relevant learning activities.

2. Teaching & Research Management:

2.1. Arrange the teachers’ teaching subjects reasonably and design the school year’s calender;

2.2. Guide and organize the formulation of teaching and research, teaching plans as well as the implementation;

3. Supervisory responsibilities:

3.1. Establish a unified teaching evaluation system;

3.2 Organize relevant departments to evaluate the teaching quality and standards, put forward improvement suggestions, optimize the process and improve the teaching quality;

4. Faculty Construction:

4.1. Responsible for the construction, training and talent development system of teaching staff, build talent management mechanism and incentive mechanism, and supervise the implementation;

4.2. Make recruitment plans for each academic year, participate in recruitment and interview process of foreign teachers.

5. Activity Organization and Participation: Participate in activities organized or assigned by the school, like clubs, English corners, Open House days and parent conferences.

6. Coordinate school to do the promotion and the related activities for student recruitment.

In mirroring an authentic California education, Pegasus adopts the same Common Core standards set by the California Department of Education. Pegasus also only offers the A-G courses paradigm along with over 20 different Advanced Placement (AP) courses. In executing California’s A-G curriculum, Pegasus uses the same textbooks and teaching apparatuses as those used in standard California public high schools.
