Part Time Ohio Teacher - Music - Remote

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Grading Teacher Certified in Music for the state of Ohio to support our full-time teaching staff in educating students in a virtual learning environment. As a Part-Time Cyber Teacher, you will play an integral role in grading student work and providing timely, constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience. This position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create a Positive Learning Environment:
   1. Cultivate a positive and encouraging atmosphere for students, fostering a love for learning and active engagement.
2. Identify and Provide Additional Support:
   1. Collaborate with students to identify areas requiring additional support and provide targeted instruction and assistance to help students improve in those areas.
3. Grading and Feedback:
   1. Grade and meticulously track completed online tasks and test scores, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
   2. Provide thoughtful and constructive feedback on student work, adhering to a strict 72-hour grading turn-around time.

1. Technical Proficiency:
   1. Demonstrated computer skills in online education, including familiarity with virtual learning platforms and related tools.
   2. Ability to swiftly learn and adapt to new technology skills to enhance the teaching and learning experience.

   1. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information and instructions to students, fostering a clear understanding of the coursework.
   2. Persuasive skills to motivate and encourage students to complete assignments, promoting proactive participation.

   1. Ability to set and maintain high expectations related to student performance, inspiring students to strive for academic excellence.

 Qualifications:

1. Valid Ohio teaching certificate in Music, multiple certifications is a plus.
2. Bachelor’s degree in educations.
3. Previous experience in grading and providing feed back in a virtual environment is a plus.
4. Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high quality grading standards.
5. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote setting.
7. Tech-savvy and proficient in using online learning platforms and digital tools.
