    QUALIFICATIONS:
    NH Certification as a Guidance Director or eligibility. All candidates must possess a Master's degree in School Counseling, Counseling, Mental Health, Psychology or Social Work and hold current NH certification as a school counselor and at least two years experience as a full time school counselor to be eligible for alt 4 certification as a School Counseling Director. Thorough knowledge of counseling theory and practice, intervention strategies to meet outcomes, school law, school administration and personnel management. The successful candidate will have previous supervisory experience, knowledge of school equity and civil rights issue, integrated use of technology and information, prior course scheduling experience and possess leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary to work effectively with administration, students, teachers and parents.

    SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
    The Director of Guidance directly oversees High School Guidance services at Nashua High North, with responsibilities to vertically align guidance programs through instructional levels. This position will oversee the coordination of guidance curriculum and development K-8, through collaboration with the Elementary and Middle School Head Guidance Counselors and Nashua High South Director of Guidance. Responsibilities include the development of the master schedule and individual courses of study, maintenance of Naviance for all guidance functions, coordinate guidance assembly programs, career days, college nights, coordinate accountability testing, manage the student grade reporting process, student records and their confidentiality. Coordinate transitional programs and liaison with school and community services for students collaboratively with other stakeholders.
