As a Communications and Marketing Director for Our Lady of Refuge, your primary responsibility would be to create and implement effective communication and marketing strategies for both the church and schools' visibility, engagement, and membership.

Some key duties and responsibilities for this role include:

Marketing

1. Coordinate outreach promotions for multiple groups, ministries and events within the Parish and School including large-scale programs such as ALPHA and School sponsored events.
2. Coordinate all advertising scheduling for billboard, radio, web, sponsoring and parish-to-parish distribution.
3. Design all indoor & outdoor graphics for advertising materials including billboards, flyers, banners, posters, brochures, and postcards using InDesign and Illustrator or a comparable software.
4. Create copy content for advertising materials.
5. Record and package radio advertising
6. Organize and assemble weekly information desk and coordinate its operations with the head of Welcoming Ministry
7. Serve as administrator on all social media profiles for parish and school that includes creating, monitoring, and updating content.
8. Organize assembly and distribution for marketing & outreach mailings.

Communications

1. Produce a weekly digital newsletter based on current & upcoming events and announcements.
2. Produce and schedule all other announcements distributed through electronic means.
3. Develop, maintain, and regularly update Parish and School website.
4. Serve as liaison in public relations.
5. Organize seasonal offering calendar for groups, ministries and parish and school-run events.

Media/Clerical

1. Produce a weekly print newsletter ( Bulletin)
2. Produce weekly verbal announcements for weekend liturgies based on current & upcoming events.
3. Produce weekly visual announcements for weekend liturgies based on current and upcoming events.
4. Organize and assemble weekly information desk and coordinate its operations with the Director of Evangelization and Welcoming Ministry
5. Work with the Head of Media Ministry to assure success through media (ProPresenter) used for liturgies and events.
6. Be willing to begin and operate a regular YouTube/podcast channel.
