This is a full time, twelve month, Secretary position at Caesar Rodney High School . Candidate must have excellent secretarial and interpersonal skills for this position as he/she will be interacting with parents/guardians, teachers, administrators, students, and other school district personnel on a regular basis, as well as outside agencies. Knowledge about Testing Coordination including SAT/PSAT, DeSSA, PAN, etc. is highly preferred as this position will focus primarily on testing coordination and procedures school-wide as well as archiving documents and records. Duties require professional verbal and written skills. This position requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information. Candidate must be able to work independently and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Knowledge of eSchool preferred.
2. Preferred experience or knowledge with School Registration process.
3. Record keeping of student data: Input of data and creation of assessment reports.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Access, Word and strong aptitude in use and implementation of other computer programs.
5. Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information.
6. Working knowledge of databases.
7. Experience with 504 special education plans and IEPs a plus.

SALARY : In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.
