ELEMENTARY ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL_ WINDERMERE BOULEVARD SCHOOL
SALARY/PAY SCALE: $85,000+ (Competitive and commensurate with experience)
START DATE: 07/01/2023 (Start of the 2023-24 school year)
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Assistant Principal position requires the ability, skills, and experience to quickly assume leadership within the district and develop productive relationships with the board of education, administrative, instructional, and support staff.
We are seeking an individual with long-term, successful experience as a school leader, including, but not limited to knowledge of applicable law, policy and regulations; experience evaluating staff; analysis of student and organization performance; experience in staff and student relations; experience with budget development and cost control, effective business practices; and emergency preparedness.
The Board of Education expects exceptional personal qualities; and, that following extensive reference checks, an individual's personal and professional life will be found to have been characterized by integrity, respect, and noteworthy accomplishments.

- NYS School Building Leader (SBL) certification required or eligible through Interstate agreement.
- Elementary Experience Preferred.
- Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education (see attached).
