General Statement of Duties

Performs a variety of Onboarding/Orientation functions including photographic and fingerprinting duties, and does related work as required.

Essential Duties

    • Fingerprints, photographs and creates ID badges for new HCPS employees;
    • Collects and enters data into the fingerprint system;
    • Operates and maintains all equipment used in the unit, including cameras, computers and digital imaging systems;
    • Keeps all associated records up-to-date and prepares report concerning fingerprinting and photographing; follows-up on ID badge requests;
    • Classifies fingerprints and enters into HRIS (Oracle);
    • Ensures I-9 paperwork is complete and entered into Oracle; follows-up on incomplete I-9 new hire documentation;
    • Responsible for Orientation Cart supplies and ensures all forms are adequately supplied;
    • Updates Google doc with background results;
    • Performs related work as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

Excellent knowledge of and familiarity with computers - experience with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook preferred; must have the ability to learn and effectively use a variety of software packages; must also have the ability to keep accurate records and use good decision-making skills. This position operates in an environment with a high stress level, good crisis management skills are important along with good analytical skills and the ability to effectively evaluate situations and respond quickly.
The ability to work as a team member to ensure the unit is meeting standards for data input, processing and retrieval. The incumbent must have excellent oral and written communication skills plus a proven track record in customer service skills, research skills and the ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision, along with the ability to handle confidential and/or sensitive material and information is required. Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and bring a positive attitude to work on a regular basis knowing that your contribution to the team matters.
Graduation from high school and related work experience; OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities; previous HR experience is preferred.

Additional Information

$16.52 per hour. This is a temporary position. Cannot work more than 29 hours per week. This vacancy closes on June 2, 2023
